How I Got Started
My approach to wayfinding and spatial experience design has been shaped by both formal study and hands-on collaboration. I studied with the faculty of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Communication Design program, including Craig Berger, Chair of the Communication Pathways Department and primary author of The Trail Sign Manual. That foundation grounded my work in systems thinking, accessibility, and the relationship between people, information, and place.
Professionally, I’ve collaborated with leading studios and practitioners in environmental graphic design, including Keith Helmetag of C&G Partners. I also worked with Trisia Tomanelli of T-Squared Design as a technical designer, supporting wayfinding and signage systems for academic, pharmaceutical, and medical campuses—projects that demanded precision, coordination, and a deep understanding of complex environments.
I have a strong passion for exterior community spaces—parks, trails, and public landscapes—which led to my involvement with the Walkway Over the Hudson New York State Park.
